You are invited to the Diamond Anniversary event to mark the inaugural meeting in Oxford of the Inhaled Particles Symposium, the longest-running international conference series addressing public and occupational health effects of particle aerosols. The event is being held on the afternoon of Friday the 6th May 2022 at the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Burlington House in London.

As the societal and health impacts of inhaled particles – from air pollution to asbestos – are diverse, so too are the planned discussions (see below) as well our invited guests who are drawn from academia, industry, policy makers and funding bodies. The format of the meeting is a lively series of short talks, each addressing vital exposures and issues that have been the subject of research over the past 60 years as well as new risks followed by a drinks reception.

The event is organised by the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) and supported by the Royal Society of Chemistry and UK Environmental Mutagenesis Society (UKEMS). There is no cost to attend and as the meeting is invitation only and places are limited, please RSVP to conferences@bohs.org book a place.
