UKEMS Technology Transfer and Training Bursary

This bursary is intended to promote knowledge and use of novel techniques applicable to investigating any aspect of mutagenicity. A grant of up to £1000 may be made at any time to any UKEMS member (of any age) who needs support to acquire and/or train in new techniques but is unable to obtain funds from elsewhere. Only UK based applicants will be considered.

Applications should be made to the Secretary of the UKEMS and will then be considered on a case-by-case basis at the next available UKEMS Committee meeting.

Applications should be one or two pages long outlining the technique, its potential for use in mutagenicity research and giving an assessment and justification of the costs involved and where they arise.

Successful applicants, having acquired their technique, will be expected to make a presentation at the first available annual UKEMS meeting or publish in the society’s journal, Mutagenesis.
